| SYNTEC BIOFUEL TO PRESENT AT ETHANOL & BIOFUELS ASIA 2008
VANCOUVER, B.C. 2nd October, 2008 - Syntec Biofuel Inc. (OTC.B.B. 'SYBF'), a leading thermochemical biofuels development company, announced today that Michael Jackson, President and Chairman, will present at the Ethanol and Biofuels Asia 2008 Conference as part of the Next Generation Biofuels Showcase. Mr. Jackson's session is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM SGT on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore.
The session will examine emerging second generation biofuel technologies, feedstock alternatives and increasing biofuel yields from waste products; following up on Mr. Jackson's presentation on thermo-chemical biofuels at the BBI Advanced Biofuels Workshop & Tradeshow held earlier this week in Minneapolis, MN.
The Syntec B2A ('biomass to alcohol') technology, initially
developed at the University of British Columbia, is focused on
second-generation cellulosic ethanol production.
